The Green Grid + US Environmental Protection Agency Alliance
The EPA and The Green Grid agreed in April 2008 to assess a small to mid-sized EPA data center. The intent was to provide specific recommendations for energy efficiency improvements in the subject data center and share the results, methodologies, and recommendations across the EPA and related governmental agencies. The real-world lessons learned and quantifiable benefits achieved will be shared with other government agencies and industry stakeholders.
